Play Click for Cans™

This year, one NFL team will earn a donation of Campbell's® soup to the food bank of its choice. How much soup? We'll get the official stats for all the players on the winning team's official roster and donate one can for every pound the total team weighs! So far, the Green Bay Packers remain the undefeated Click for Cans champs – will they stay on top, or will they get a run for their money this year? It's up to you!

And Speaking of Birthdays…

Central Riverside is also celebrating a 90th birthday. This past week, the school celebrated the grand day with a day-long celebration. Retired teachers returned for the festivities as well as many noted alumni including State Attorney Harry Shorstein, Circuit Court Judge Bernard Nachman, architect Ted Pappas and Darnell-Cookman Middle School teacher Douglas Meeks. They shared stories with the students and the whole school was treated with cake and ice cream. The student chorus also performed. If you missed out on the festivities, the chorus will be performing again as part of the Riverside Holiday Party on Thursday, November 16 from 4:30 to 6:00pm. They are also performing at the Airport on morning of December 7 and again at Central Riverside for a Holiday party December 14.

The school is still seeking old photos to display in hallways when guests visit. The photos will be copied or scanned and then returned to the owners. For information, call 381-7495.
