The Jacksonville City Council Public Health & Safety Committee is a public forum on Crime & Safety. Kevin Hyde, Chair of the Committee is inviting all interested citizens to attend.

The panel will consist of all Council Members in attendance along with various agency representatives. The goal of the meeting is to have the public share their ideas of how to improve crime prevention, and how to better deal with the problems that are created by crime. All Council Members are being asked to attend.

The meeting is December 10, 2007 at Wayman Ministries campus at 1176 LaBelle Street, in the Spirit of Life Worship Center on the corner of Plymouth Street, 1 block west of Cassatt Avenue. Start time is 6 pm.

Although these locations were chosen to make attendance convenient for communities that are experiencing a higher incidence of crime, all interested citizens are invited to attend and are encouraged to share their ideas.
