From the RAM Father, Wayne Wood:
One of the truly great sponsors of RAM is the Florida Times-Union and Jacksonville.com. They have been a strong supporter of RAM since our very first day.
So it is indeed an honor for us to celebrate "Jacksonville.com Day" at RAM tomorrow, June 10th. One of the highlights of Jacksonville.com is RadioJax, a streaming internet radio station that features local bands and performers. This very much parallels RAM's mission to showcase local musical talent and help give exposure to boost their careers.
RadioJax will be streaming from their booth at the Riverside Arts Market. Local bands featured in the Jacksonville.com band directory will also be performing.
Come out this Saturday to hear Clayton Bush, Embrace the Martian, General Tso's Fury, and Jasmine Rhey.
Free T-shirts will be given away. Text "radiojax" to 724665. The first 75 people who come to the RadioJax booth at the Riverside Arts Market on July 10 and show the text on their cell phones will receive a free T-shirt. Click here to see the schedule of bands. You'll also see the schedule for the River Stage, which has some terrific performers as well. Hear the Jacksonville Mass Choir at 10:30 am; Emily Smith & John "The Judge" Warner at 11:30 am; and Laurel Lee and the Escapees at 12:30 pm. Also, if you haven't caught our saxophone sensation Morton Perry, don't miss his performance on the Crossroads Stage at 1:00 pm.
And in between all of this great music, be sure to see the world-record juggler, Bruce Sarafian, juggling knives, fiery torches, and other dangerous objects from the top of his 12-foot-tall unicycle. Awesome!
