RAM Art Gallery opens Saturday, October 9, at Riverside Arts Market

Inspired by the wildly successful "Imagination Squared" art project which culminated with the works of over 900 area artists in a display at the Museum of Contemporary Art, the RAM Art Gallery provides artists with a new option for selling art at RAM. Artists pay $18 each for 2 wooden squares (9"x9"x2"); $8 is for the square, $10 is the fee RAM is paid to display, market, and store the work for 4 weeks. The artist sets the sales price for the work and receives all the proceeds when sold.

The RAM Gallery expects to have the works of over 100 artists on display each week.
Average price is about $100, so you could purchase a mini gallery for your home for as little as $300 to $600 and have six original works of art....and you'll have lots of art to choose from.

More works shown on Channel 12 WTLV during recent interview about the RAM Art Gallery. Go to: http://bit.ly/cm2Zdj
And check out the October issue of EU Magazine which has a feature article about the Gallery. RAM is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm each Saturday. Come see what a work of art could do to brighten your life.
