At RAP's Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 17th, RAP members will be asked to vote on the proposed slate of Officers. Please review the credentials listed here and come to the meeting to offer you vote. Many thanks, and we look forward to seeing you!

The meeting begins at 6 pm at the 5 Points Theater in Riverside.

RAP Annual Meeting to be held Thursday, Feb. 17th

Riverside Avondale Preservation is proud to hold its 36th Annual Meeting this year. Set for Thursday February 17th, we will be celebrating the organization's 2010 accomplishments and detailing future plans from the stage of the 5 Points Theater on Park Street. A brief reception begins at 6 pm, and the meeting will start at 6:30 pm with a welcome from outgoing RAP Chair, Kay Ehas, followed by featured speaker, performance poet "Al Letson":http://www.alletson.com, host of National Public Radio's "State of the Re:Union":http://stateofthereunion.com. We will also offer a short tribute to "Bonnie Grissett":http://www.riversideavondale.org/textpattern/index.php?event=article&step=edit&ID=145, former Executive Director of Riverside Avondale Preservation, who passed away this past December.

The assembled membership will then vote on the proposed board slate, and applaud the newest recipients of RAP's Neighborhood Preservation Awards. The meeting will adjourn at 7:35 pm.

Annual Membership Meeting This Wednesday!

Don't miss this meeting! We have a lot to cover including a review of 2008 and a preview of some of the major changes ahead for RAP in 2009. We'll announce the winners of RAP’s Annual Preservation Awards, elect our new Board and listen as the fabulous Dr. Wayne Wood takes us on a Magical Mystery Tour of the Riverside Avondale Historic District.
