RAP Annual Meeting to be held Thursday, Feb. 17th

Riverside Avondale Preservation is proud to hold its 36th Annual Meeting this year. Set for Thursday February 17th, we will be celebrating the organization's 2010 accomplishments and detailing future plans from the stage of the 5 Points Theater on Park Street. A brief reception begins at 6 pm, and the meeting will start at 6:30 pm with a welcome from outgoing RAP Chair, Kay Ehas, followed by featured speaker, performance poet "Al Letson":http://www.alletson.com, host of National Public Radio's "State of the Re:Union":http://stateofthereunion.com. We will also offer a short tribute to "Bonnie Grissett":http://www.riversideavondale.org/textpattern/index.php?event=article&step=edit&ID=145, former Executive Director of Riverside Avondale Preservation, who passed away this past December.

The assembled membership will then vote on the proposed board slate, and applaud the newest recipients of RAP's Neighborhood Preservation Awards. The meeting will adjourn at 7:35 pm.
