Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste

On April 21, 2007 we will all have the opportunity to get rid of all those unwanted or out-of-date paints, pesticides, cleaners and chemicals that haunt our houses and garages. If you have anything thathttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.photo.gif has any of the wording WARNING, CAUTION, POISON or DANGER, it probably contains hazardous materials and should never be just thrown in your garbage can. These products contain chemicals that can can present hazards to you and your environment by leaching into your drinking water where they can make you sick or even kill you.

Each year the city offers mobile pick up. They don't come right to your door, but they do come closer than Commonwealth Ave. For more info, visit the city's web site.
