A Significant Step in Preserving Some of Downtown's Iconic Structures

This isn't the first time plans have been proposed to save the Laura Street Trio (the Bisbee Building, the Marble Bank building and the Florida Life Building). But the renderings unveiled at a City Hall press conference yesterday have got Jacksonville's preservation community buzzing. They represent a dynamic re-imagining of iconic structures that have been neglected for far too long. Even better, members of the redevelopment team leading the charge have done this type of work before, and done it well. MetroJacksonville has a great feature on what's being proposed. Take a look at the renderings and keep your fingers crossed!
