Have you ever wanted to display your art at the Riverside Arts Market, but without the hassle of setting up a booth, or giving up your Saturdays? Then you need to know about a cool new initiative called the Riverside Arts Market Art Gallery. Based on the wildly successful Imagination Squared project, this new gallery at RAM is open to anyone who has the imagination to paint or otherwise visually decorate a 9 1/2" square and the courage to have it hung at the Arts Market.
The squares can be purchased at Riverside Avondale Preservation during office hours, and at the RAP booth at RAM every Saturday. The gallery debuts October 9, and will operate each Saturday through Dec. 18th. Dozens of Jacksonville's finest artists will be participating in this innovative art salon; Jim Draper, Allison Watson and Roger Otto, have already submitted their squares (that's Jim's submission above). So what are you waiting for? Get to work on yours!
